Anglická obchodní škola (British Business College)
Ve spolupráci s anglickou centrálou Edexcel nabízí výuku anglického programu.
Obsah a zaměření studia: Anglická obchodní škola nabízí studium ekonomických předmětů v angličtině + prohloubení anglického jazyka.
Forma studia:
- Denní 2-leté studium
- Večerní nebo dálkové 3-leté studium
Ukončení studia: Studium anglické obchodní školy je v lednu a červnu ukončeno ústními zkouškami v Praze. Studenti získávají po absolvování studia mezinárodní certifikát anglické školy, který je opravňuje k přijetí na zahraniční vysoké školy bez přijímacích zkoušek.
Organizace výuky:
- Denní studium: pondělí až pátek 4 vyučovací hodiny denně, od začátku září.
- Večerní studium: 2x týdně odpoledne, 2 - 4 vyučovací hodiny.
- Dálkové studium: 2x měsíčně v sobotu 6 – 8 vyučovacích hodin.
- Distanční online studium: s možností individuálních konzultací.
- Pobyt v Anglii: v červnu odjíždějí studenti na cca. týdenní pobyt do Anglie na návštěvu naší partnerské školy.

Unit 1 – Competitive Business Environment and the Law
Description of unit
This unit provides an introduction to the competitive environment in which business operates. It enables students to develop an understanding of the operation of markets and competition, and the influences of government and the European Union. Students will also be introduced to some of the major areas of law which affect business organisations.
Unit 2 – Finance
Description of unit
This unit introduces students to the role and purpose of finance and financial information within a business. Students will learn about the sources of finance for business and how to choose appropriate finance for business projects. They will also learn how to assess business projects to determine their viability.
Unit 3 – Marketing
Description of unit
This unit introduces students to the concept of marketing, its strategic importance and the marketing process as a whole. There is an emphasis on understanding the customer, ensuring that products and services meet with customer needs, and ways of influencing customer behaviour. The unit provides an opportunity for students to research and investigate the marketing strategy of an organisation.
Unit 4 – Personnel Responsibilities and Procedures
Description of unit
The aim of this unit is to introduce students to the functions of a personnel department. Students will examine the roles and responsibilities of a range of different staff involved in the management of human resources in various types of organisation. Administrative processes will also be reviewed to provide students with a basic understanding of how current and future human resource needs can be met.
Unit 5 – Costing
Description of unit
In this unit students will learn the distinction between direct and indirect costs within an organisation. The unit covers methods of analysing and allocating costs and how to present cost information in report to management.
Unit 8 – Financial Reporting
Description of unit
This unit looks at the preparation of final accounts from the trial balance. Students will learn about the legislation and regulations that affect financial reporting and how to present financial statements in the appropriate format for different types of business organisation.
Unit 10 – Managing Information
Description of unit
This unit helps students to understand the different types of information used within an organisation for different purposes. Its emphasis is on the role a manager plays in managing the various sources and types of information. Students will gain an understanding of some of the skills required by a manager in fulfilling this role. The unit considers only one aspect of management. A fuller understanding would be gained by students also studying one or more of the other three management option units.
Unit 13 – Marketing Research
Description of unit
The aim of this unit is to extend students´ knowledge and understanding of marketing research, and help them develop a range of marketing research skills. It involves the practical application of different marketing research methods and the statistical analysis of data collected.
Unit 18 – Recruitment and Selection
Description of unit
This unit provides students with the knowledge to make the most effective use of human resources and ensure that the right person is chosen to fill a post. Students will examine job analysis and job design to meet the needs of an organisation. The unit also covers advertising and suitable media, job application forms, letters of application and curriculum vitae. Students will investigate and carry out interviewing and selection and follow these up by producing appropriate letters to candidates. It is anticipated that the whole of this will provide students with a sound grasp of all that is entailed in the recruitment and selection process.
Unit 20 – Small Business Start-up
Description of unit
This unit is designed to guide students through the process of business start-up. It is particularly suitable for students intending to become self-employed but is useful for other students in terms of developing transferable business skills. Students will be required to plan business start-up from the generation of business ideas through to the implementation of the business plan.
Vyučované dovednosti: Statistika, Komunikace, Informační technologie, Týmová práce, Rozhodování.
Přijímací zkoušky: Před přijetím na anglickou obchodní školu se koná přijímací pohovor, při kterém má možnost student získat veškeré informace o studiu, škola zjišťuje znalosti anglického jazyka, které student prokáže buď maturitním vysvědčením, jinou jazykovou zkouškou nebo pohovorem v angličtině.
Cena: Pololetní školné je u denního i dálkového studia anglické obchodní školy - 26.250,- Kč. V ceně: výuka, volitelný druhý jazyk v odpoledních hodinách, studijní materiály, letenka a ubytování na týdenním pobytu v Anglii.
Dále zajišťujeme: Možnost půlročního studia v Anglii, kde probíhá stejná výuka a student nemusí přerušit stávající studium.
